The Adventurer's Guild Fort Verdant, also known as The Mermaid Cove Resort and Spa, or simply the Mermaid Cove Resort, is in it's own cavern, where while being on the black sand beaches of the Sirens Grotto, it also extends to meet the dense jungles of the Wild Gardens.

Description

Ford Verdant from the outside looks like a heavily defensible fort, as the trees of the Wild Gardens grow right up to the sand, knitted, grown and twisted together making a solid wall of living trees, mixing into coconut trees which takes the wall to the waterline, and finished out by mythril-reinforced nets, all woven with warding magic set in place by Runar Hansen. Vespid guards provide air patrols, to accompany the guards supplied by the Adventurer's guild.

Within the heavy gate of interwoven iron leaf vines is an array of two and three-story resort buildings encircling the black sand beach, with gilded water slides, floating drink barges, it seems whoever funded the area was into decadence. Stashed off against one wall however, surrounded by a lower chain fence then the walls of the fort itself, can be found barracks, a command building, and docks, the allowance given to the original purpose, and what remains before the funding agent turned it into primarily a resort.

The nets reach to the very bottom of the water, there is a clear parting where they can be open to allow ships in and out, and a water patrol as well as the magical wards prevents incursions from Siren's Last Refuge against those who come for a party or to get the sun rays.

At the center of the mismatched resort and fortification, is a runic gateway linked through a teleportation hub to allow folks to easily come and go to the resort without travelling by foot through the Verdant Caverns, allowing for easy access for weekend getaways and rapid response from the Adventurer's Guild.
