Wizarding Towers
A set of five dark towering pilers, curved towards the center as they spin and twist, the two functioning towers seeming to have an endless amount of rooms for housing, classrooms and laboratories.
Description
The grounds approaching the towers are well kept, four forming a semi-circle, with a fifth positioned away from the others, and centered to them. The towers themselves stretch into the cavernous ceiling, and to unknown depths bellow the ground, yet, no stairs or steps are present. Rather the towers seem to shift and turn, descending and ascending at all times at they approached, the door you reach is always the door you want, be it a door to your own rooms, or a locked door of another resident you wish to visit. Those who exit the Towers, always do so at the ground floor, and even those capable of flight are unable to enter or leave save for the ground floor. How many rooms exist, or if there is a limit is unknown to those who dwell here, Lazuli provides the keys to new residences, and the new rooms are always emptied and prepped for new visitors. At times, crews can be seen cleaning out rooms, of whatever exists within them prior to cleaning for new residences, always removing the contents using portable holes or other ways to conceal what is removed. Those who live here are told the rules and forced to accept them prior to being given a key, students, faculty, staff, or even just those who want to live on the grounds are welcomed to take up residence.
With one tower being thicker then the others, and having only one bend to it, the three in the middle being roughly evenly sized, with two bends, and the third being slightly narrower with two bends, it is not unusual to feel as if one might be standing in the palm of some humanoid, with the fingers curling up ready to grasp them.
Operation
When one approaches a tower with a destination in mind, the tower will stop its shifting, with a door facing the person approaching from the courtyard to the towers. The internal dimensions do not always match the external dimensions, arranged in various layouts. The towers have a constant psionic field that can detect what someone wants of the buildings. If one approaches without the ability for the psionic field to detect what they are seeking, they will instead respond to a key to bring the room that belongs to the key, however without a key the Towers will not respond at all.
Not all the towers are in operation, if one follows the hand analogy then only the 'pointer' and 'middle' fingers of the five Towers respond. The reason for this, and the operation of the other three towers is one of many things being planned by Lazuli for investigation.
History
The ancient history of Institute of Lecherous Learning is shaded, the journals and maps that Lazuli have found indicate that the Institute comprised of multiple buildings. Having to use comprehend languages to understand the labels of the map, it was discovered the Library of Carnal Knowledge was marked 'building housing books for study and fun', the building that would take the name Institute of Lecherous Learning was labeled in what translated to 'center of student service and education', and the cluster of buildings currently known as Wizarding Towers was labeled upon the map as 'The Hand of the Universe', although the reasoning for this is unknown as it seems to break the patterns otherwise noticed.
Other buildings were marked, but are either unexcavated, were destroyed, or simply did not make it to Paradisium, upon the maps that Lazuli has they are labeled 'selling of material for study', which was at some point destroyed as it was found to be a foundation and rubble. Four other buildings are located as such that their fates are not as well known. The first unknown building is labeled 'Esoteric study of the reunition of the divine form and deriving the natural world.' The second building is labeled as 'Study of the threads of everything through raw material that is to be woven.' The third building is labeled as 'Mechanization of the woven material into the benefits of general populations.' The fourth building is labeled as 'Ur-example of educational studies of foundational text and study.'
Lazuli discovered and founded the Institute of Lecherous Learning, based off the maps, and with funds raised from the denizens of Paradisium to fund exploration and reconstruction. The Institute of Lecherous Learning was stripped of rotting and destroyed furniture and relics, those that seemed that they could be salvaged were documented and set aside for further study.
Meanwhile, despite plans to renovate the Institute Grounds, the artificial sun seemed to burn away the old, dead plants and new plants grew rapidly, and new furniture was setup, rooms were made into lecture halls and offices, and Lazuli opened the Institute officially. A few months later, Lazuli paid to have the foundation cleared off, and opened the Institute's Book Store.
Lazuli is not stopping in her plans for the Institute, between exploration and study of the Institute Undercrofts, learning more of the Wizarding Towers and unlocking the secrets of the other three, investigation into the artificial sun, and planning for additional excavations to uncover the remaining lost buildings, if they still exist.
