Hemovore and Therainthrope
A pair of mythical creatures, that are both affected by entering Paradisium.
Hemovore
Strigoi, Vrykolakas, Chedipe, Churel, Bruxa, Vampire. Many words for many variants of the same thing, those who walk the world, dead and requiring the blood of others to sustain themselves. In other worlds, they might be powerful monsters, ancient powers to be feared constantly. In Paraidisum most are known as Hemovores.
Therainthrope
The werebeast, the zonthrope, the werewolf, the turnskin, the beast man and animal shifters, spread by curse, born with a bloodline that has cursed them with a form of a beast as they live under the cycles of the moon and baring with it a weakness to silver. Many worlds have stories of such beasts, many speak of the curses, those who suffer under the wolfbane, the ill moon, in Paradisium, most are collectively known as Therainthropes.
Curses Warped by Paradisium
Despite the worlds that they may have come from, those baring certain curses or afflictions are found to be changed by the magics of Paradisium. A corruption, another curse, or a blessing in disguise depending upon the realities they came from, the Hemovore represents the 'vampire' and the Therainthrope the 'beastman', in their essences, rewritten to better survive and thrive within Paradisium. How any person takes this change will greatly depends on themselves and their history, meanwhile those born in Paradisium knew no other version of their curses. Still, even with the many ways one can be a Hemovore or Therainthrope, there are yet other forms that Paradisium does not reject, or, who have found their curses linger in other ways.
