Venatus is the spirit of the hunted, the primal drive to be chased, to fight back not with force but with cleverness and cunning. It is the quickening of the heart when a branch snaps in the forest at night, it is the urge to lure, to trap a danger to yourself in something of your own making. And it is also the rush of pleasure that happens when you're finally pinned down, when the teeth bite into the supple flesh of your throat, when your pulse hammers so hard you can feel it in every inch of your being as they decide whether to rip and tear or take some other violation.
