Serpent's Road

From Paradisium Wiki

The Serpent's Road is a space between spaces, connecting at least two areas of Paradisium at a time. Accessed by entering the mouth of the Serpent when it appears, the inside of the Serpent leads to the road; a picturesque mountainous area with bamboo forests, freshwater lakes, and tall abandoned towers and castles of a unique style.

The first and only rule of the road is to never step off the road no matter as doing so puts one at risk of getting lost forever.

As long as the adventurer on the road keeps their destination in mind, they will never lose their way no matter how long and winding the road is.

Rules of the Road

Travelers must not, under any circumstance, step off the road. Those who do must return to it immediately before it is out of reach.

The Serpent's Road can lead to the entrance/exit of any known zone in Paradisium with the following known exceptions: The Frostveil Tundra and Th̵͘͝ě̵̃ ̵̧̉Mỉ̵̈s̶̉tress' location.

The length of a journey is entirely dependent on the travelers' familiarity with their destination; the more familiar they are, the shorter it will be.

The Road manifests in known sections of Paradisium and it cannot go to places that are unexplored, blocked off, or otherwise unknown to the traveler.

Using the Road without a set destination will cause the traveler to either travel indefinitely or be regurgitated back where they first entered.
