Izabel Perez

Bio: Despite telling she's meant for the sea as a child, Izabel's parents rapidly changed their minds once their girl decided to not enter the family butchering business at the young age of thirteen, wishing to become a sailor. The hormones of puberty didn't help in deescalating the conflict, and after a few weeks of constant fighting they considered the mutiny out of their control and threw her out. And Izabel, meant for the seas, not for killing pigs, went to dirtiest tavern in town and after some convincing (read: stabbing) of the people in there wanting to fuck her, joined a crew. She rose through the ranks quickly and age nineteen, became the first mate. Soon the aging captain retired, not wanting his failing reflexes to be the end of him, and gifted the ship to Iza. The rowdy youngblood took over, her time on ship from an age so young, especially as a woman, only hardening her stubbornness. Iza gets what she wants, but she also protects her own crew, and so paradoxically, the safest place to be in the Stormpirate Seas became on the one involved in the most fights; the Bloodraven, Iza's ship. She used her naval superiority to spread her influence, taking protection money from routes she patrolled, and soon, instead of giving her first mate her ship and retiring with enough money to fill the sea, she expanded her fleet. Soon the dotted islands of the Stormpirate Seas, reliant on outside shipments to stay alive, found themselves having to agree to any and all demands of Izabel, one of them calling her my favorite title, Pirate Queen.
