Accursed Jackal

An eclectic shop, that sells a bit of everything rare and valuable, although the new owner has been adding to the inventory things that remind them of home.

Description

A shop that once belonged to a prominent jackal woman, the sign is written in black and crimson, carrying a an oath against the old owner. The shop layout is orderly, open, seemingly trusting of those who would visit the shop. The shop seems to be a quite eclectic collection, magic and mundane, lit by smokeless brass lamps, filling the space with a warm light. The counter top has been inlayed with brass with delicate patterns, a decorated brass bell sits to be used to call the owner, while the glass from displays an array of artifacts.

A sign hangs near the counter, that reads:

Under new ownership, Sol.
    She/They Pronouns.
  Honest trades welcome.

History

In the earliest times of the dungeon, there was a singular shop by the name of the Jackal's Pleasure, a general store that, unknown to most, resold goods from Market Town at elevated prices as the store owner used Dao magic to obscure and hide away the Market Town until she had the good fortune to 'discover' it in advance of the rest of the population.

There, the new shop called the Golden Jackal replaced the old Jackal's Pleasure, and operated not selling other shop's goods at an increase, but instead focusing on rare and wonderous relics. However, in time the Second Exodus saw Nubia vanish from the dungeon.

Upon the realization that they were free from the control of the old owner, Sol took over the shop and has started refurbishing it, changing the name a third time to the Accursed Jackal, in 'honor' of it's prior owner.
