Taersedaith, commonly called Vee, though answering to any of the names she has been given including Verrana, Vernas, Tintreach-Bileog, Tintreleo, OasisWayfinder, and Dragon is a kindly Song Dragon that lives in Paradisium. They are bound by an agreement with the Verdant Hive to tend to the Dragonleaf Trees that make up the Dragonleaf Grove, in return she is allowed some limited autonomy to run the housing in Dragonleaf Grove.

History

The life of Taersedaith began with an abduction, two violent blue dragons became hostile, and targeted Taersedaith's parents by stealing their only egg, that which was Taersedaith. Intending to corrupt it, the blue dragons plans were stopped when they were killed in an effort to further extend their territory.

When the Wayfinders, an order of druids, went to investigate the dragon's lair once the beast was slain, they came across two sets of eggs, not understanding why, they assumed that Taersedaith's egg was that of the blue dragons, not understanding why her egg was viable and larger then the other eggs, they would not end a life yet to enter the world, and so, took responsibility to hatch the egg, and raise the dragon within.

It is said it takes a village to raise a child, in this case, it was an order. Over the next hundred years, Taersedaith gained multiple names, from being called "Dragon" by the Firbold, Tintreach-Bileog by the Dragonborn, Tintreleo by the humans who couldn't quite get the name down, Verrana and Vernas from the Gnomes.

They learned and grew among the many different races of the Wayfinders, having no constant home and being a nomad, they had to learn to alter their form to fit in, thankfully to those who she travelled with, her magic was strong and she was a quick learner, seeming to master a form of true polymorph, a false mastery that would ultimately hinder her from becoming who she was meant to be.

Often they would take the form of a female halfing or male dragonborn, while travelling to fit their feeling of gender, and, polymorphing into a blue dragon when 'changing back', never realizing that he wasn't truly legging the spell go to return to his true self.

Life began to change greatly as she neared one hundred. She began to feel urges she could not explain, stirrings of draconic nature that laid dormant, and it was decided she needed to find other dragons to learn from. Upon the first new moon of her Hundred-and-First Year of Hatching Celebration, after becoming ordained as a full adult, a ritual was performed to open a gateway between worlds.

The gateway targeted a place where there was a large gathering of adult dragons without blood shed, under the assumption they would accept and train him, on another plane, in the Monster Girl Cantina, the presence of five adult dragons became an anchor for the spell.

While studying and trying to adjust to Paradisium, she gained the name Vee as a nickname shortening the names Verrana, Vernas.

However what she learned, threw her life into more turmoil. Her form and some of her abilities were due to various manipulations, some honest confused attempts to help her, and some curses woven by her false parents. She did not have the urges or instincts of a blue dragon that was expected of her, and she struggled at times with the lessons the other Dragons tried to impart.

It was at this time he learned that he was not, as he grew up believing, a blue dragon, but a Song Dragon, kidnapped to be used by the blue dragons, who were killed. Those who adopted him made an incorrect assumption, and unknowingly he would hold himself polymorphed as a blue dragon under that assumption.

With the polymorph being dropped finally, they found themselves even more confused, lost, but more certain then before they were on the right path for once. Abilities that they once relied on seemed to be lost, they could no longer call upon the ease of the polymorphing, and they fell sick, wandering deep into Paradisium, they fell into a deep sleep, and slumbered.

When they woke, they felt that they spent the last fifty years relearning themselves in their dreams, meeting their parents, learning their original name was to be Taersedaith. However, while they woke older, the rest of Paradisium didn't age with them. However, they also knew what they desired, wanted to do, and so they approached the Verdant Hive.

Presenting herself to Queen Melora, Taersedaith requested the creation of a safe haven, a settlement that she would protect, guard and guide, the negotiation was difficult, but the fact that she was one of only a very few that they had ever met that could possibly grown the Dragonleaf Trees, she was granted her request.

Personality Notes

While not strictly sex repulsed, she after all does not object to nudity or others having sex in her presence, she does not desire, or enjoy, the activity herself.

She typically sticks to human form, using her dragon form only when called to, or for flying. She misses the ability to easily change her forms, but is regaining her magic and hopes to be able to take on a male form once more in the future.

She is panromantic, and enjoys platonic touch, cuddling, so on, but, knowing how quickly others can turn that wanting more, she also tends to avoid such touch until she builds a level of trust with her partners.

Connections

Vee has a strong feeling of responsibility and care over all those who live in the Dragonleaf Grove, as she sees all under her protection as friends.

She is bound by agreements made with Melora that has carried to her successor to the throne and so she is bound by agreements with Queen Katina.
