Purrfect Petshop

Kitty bounces excitedly at the door, barely containing her excitement as Kat does a final round of inspection and inventory. After what feels like a lifetime of dreaming, it's hard for the two to accept that the day is finally here. Their own pet shop, opened with the help of wonderful community in the dungeon they have both come to call home. With a roll of the eyes, and a knowing smile, the dark-skinned teifling nods, and her bubbly Tabaxi wife eagerly flips the sign and opens the doors.

The inside of the large corner store is decorated in a friendly and familiar manner, without a spec of dust or a dog-biscuit out of place, and Kitty has added her own colorful flair with hand-drawn signs and bright paintings of the pair's own furry children. Every animal is kept in as spacious an enclosure as possible, and those who can be trusted roam the store freely, chirping and barking happily at customers or rubbing up against their legs in search of affection.

Among the collection of interesting and magical beasts are also racks of collars and leashes, toys and pet beds, and a variety of different animal safe treats and foods for every diet. Each critter, mundane or magical, comes with a detailed care sheet, and a certificate of adoption. Kitty and Cat are even happy to help new owners form their first magical bond with their new companion!

EXAMPLE OF A BONDING RITUAL KITTY

Kitty bounces into the room first, catching the door to let them enter. "Well, first, you sit in this circle and you talk to your new companion a bit - stuff like telling him his name, and explaining how you're going to be so great together! We'll light a few candles to help you both relax, and it's just super chilled. You might want to sing with them, or play some music, or we could play some in the background. Then we'll do some magic, and he'll be bonded to you!"

CAT

The tiefling enters behind her partner. "Most of that isn't neces..."

KITTY

"Yes, it's super important!"

CAT

Cat shakes her head with a loving smile, and gestures to the carefully drawn chalk ring on the ground.

YOLT

He looks mildly suspicious but leads him into the circle. "Hello Sir Cornelius my new friend and companion. I'm Yolt and it is good to meet you new friend who shall help me be more of a prankster than I am!" He pets Cornelius affectionately behind his ears, grinning. Cat Cat begins lighting some candles and speaking soft words in infernal, while Kitty mostly just bounds around the small room excitedly.
