Arzael, the Inquisitor

Role/Job: Inquisitor

Common Locations: He shall appear wherever and whenever the Mistress calls him to.

Personality/Bio: Unknown’s partner and her comrade in arms. When she was sent to judge and cleanse the Dungeon, Azrael was forced to remain among the heavens as its Grand Inquisitor. However, when she did not return, he turned from his duty and came down from the celestial realm in search of his partner. Like Sephariel, however, he too was corrupted by the Mistress’ power, and now he serves as her greatest Inquisitor- an agent of her will, a guardian of the Dungeon. He is like a shadow among shadows…quiet and unknown, for his presence is seldom brought forth by the will of the Mistress. His blade and his wrath are impartial to all except those whom the Mistress deems as deviants within her Dungeon.

•Race and Class: Celestial Seraph (Fallen Aasimar), Level 20 Vengeance Paladin

•General traits: Composed, stern, strict, vigilant, unshaken, disciplined, honorable

•Mannerism: Azrael tends to be rather still whenever he is present, simply clasping the grip of his sword with both hands in a non-threatening position. Though no expressions can be made out past the skull that covers his face (or is his face), oftentimes the only way to read his tone or his temper is through the intensity of the glowing blue dots that are his eyes.

•Speech patterns: Archaic

•Speech example: “The Mistress proclaims thou a deviant to her will. By the judgement delivered upon my blade, thy existence is now rendered forfeit.”

•Bond: Sephariel (His comrade and his partner from the heavenly realms)

•Quirk: He seldom makes his presence known, only emerging from the shadows to execute the deviants of the Mistress’ will.

•Values: He has but two commitments in his life: the Mistress, and Sephariel. He has a deep respect for the ideals of loyalty, honor, and integrity, and abides by then even in the service of the Mistress.

•Secret/Hook: The reason he came down from the heavens to the dungeon and was bound to the Mistress’ will was because he cares about Sephariel, and wanted to find her.

•Greeting: “I hath been summoned on behalf of the Mistress to enforce her will.”

•Threatened: He will remain composed and unfazed should any lesser being waste their time casting hollow threats upon him. Should the threats be followed up on, he will make them regret their actions with a small display of his power- harming but not killing them outright- before warning them to take care with the words they speak

•Flirted with: He will either ignore it or reject it, for his purpose is to enforce the Mistress’ will, not to engage in it. Furthermore, his bond is with Sephariel alone.

•Asked for help: He will refuse, for it is only by his Mistress’ will that he will act.
