The Pirate Abductions

A sailing ship named the Queen Bess was sailing blindly on the Stormpirate Seas, whatever happened to the compass required to navigate the treacherous seas may never be known, but it left the ship adrift, unable to return to port. The Captain, for reasons that are also not completely known, either made a pact with something in the depths of the water, or cast a curse, the result is the same however. Magic Rum would appear regularly upon The Queen Bess. By throwing the bottles overboard, they would wash adrift to other shores or ships. When consumed it would drag those who drank it to a prison hold, to be broken and force to join the crew.

Of the original crew, only a single man survived to tell the tale, an undead doctor known as Sawbones.

Over time, the Pirate Queen, Izabel Perez knew to warn those who lived in the Smuggler's Cove about the cursed booze, and would have it collected and destroyed. However, when the task fell upon "Captain" Jack Robinson, he screwed up and decided to dispose of it, and earn extra coin, by selling it at the Monstergirl Cantina instead, and after a party, many were abducted to the Queen Bess.

Unlike the usual victims, those with limited means and relations, many of those abducted had powerful loved ones. The rescue party was established, and many were rescued.
