Twilight Groves

Several of the smaller caves and pockets within these verdant caverns shift drastically in feel, as the crystals above turn silvery blue, shining down a moonlight glow, rather than the vibrant sunlight of the larger antechambers. The result is an entirely different ecosystem thriving inside the permanent moonlight of these groves; glowing fungi, nightshades, and a myriad of other plants yet to be categorized. Even the small pools of water that exist here, sourced by the rivers of the garden, glow blue in the dark, perhaps the result of some strange algae living in them, or maybe due to an entirely different and more magical reaction.

These places are quieter, calmer, and my even seem safe, with the noises of the jungle left behind - but to assume they are without danger would be a grave mistake. Clever things lurk in the shadows of moonlight, and the entrancing light of the softly glowing fungi conceals great and lustful intentions.
